Our History
Trek Connect of Lumberton, New Jersey, was founded in 1997 by Miriam (Mimi) Jacobs. A veteran of more than 30 years in the high reliability electrical connector marketplace, Jacobs capitalized on an opportunity to create her own wire harness and cable assembly business and guided the company to success.

What we do
Trek Connect manufactures high quality cable assemblies, wire harnesses and specialized switching systems for defense contractors, concentrating on the Naval shipbuilding and aerospace industries. Our products have been Battlefield Proven in mission critical applications.
Trek Connect enjoys producing highly engineered, high-complexity, low to mid volume requirements, that are either a Collaborative Design & Development assemblies or Build to Print assemblies.
Trek Connect is a Trusted Advisor and Strategic Supplier to Tier-1 and sub-contractor customers in the Military & Aerospace market. Trek Connect continues to attract and retain high-profile customers including Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Raytheon and their respective subcontractors.

Production & Warehouse
Our Trek Connect facility is furnished with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the best quality possible to our customers. Trek Connect equipment includes Cirrus Testing Machines, Molex Machines, Fiber Optic Auto-Polishers, Fiber Optic Inspection Machines, and more. Complementing our facility is our expert assembly staff, trained and certified to IPC/WHMA-620A industry standards — in addition to our experienced engineers, ready to assist you from design to deployment.

Experienced Team
Quality & Certifications
Trek’s engineering team has experience focused on the design and specification of cable assemblies and wire harnesses for defense applications.
Trek Connect trains and certifies all assembly staff to IPC/WHMA-620A – Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, including three who are authorized to train and certify staff to this industry standard.
Trek is committed to providing quality defect-free products delivered on a timely basis, that consistently meet or exceed customer expectations, contract requirements, and specifications.
Critical defense and national security
Programs
Trek Connect is dedicated to providing utmost quality and services to Navy shipboard programs, including Virginia Class and Seawolf Class Submarines, Guided Missile Destroyers, and Joint Service Aircrew Masks.
