Trek Connect personnel are well trained, certified to ETA requirements, and experienced in Navy shipboard fiber optic termination and inspection in accordance with MIL-STD-2042B. Trek Connect utilizes state-of the art assembly cleaning and inspection equipment to ensure performance to rigorous standards.
Inspection and Testing
Trek Connect can design and fabricate custom in-house test cables (TCAT) and test fixtures to interface between our state-of-the-art CIRRIS® Signature 1100 Series Advanced Continuity and Hi-Pot AC-DC test systems (up to 1500VDC) and our deliverable assemblies, ensuring that the assemblies meet or exceed applicable customer or military specifications. Higher test voltages are achieved using our manual Hi-Pot test equipment.
Design and 3D Modeling
Trek uses Pro/Engineering as its standard 3-D drawing resource, complemented by AutoCad capabilities.
Trek offers design services and solutions to help our customers drive down engineering and prototyping costs in the development and fabrication/integration of complex electro-mechanical systems. These systems are used across multiple markets in both test and production environments.
Terminators and Dummy Loads
Trek Connect uses military-grade materials for standard or custom applications, including RF-resistive load terminators (Coax/Triax), custom between-series connector adapters, and military specification connectors with resistive load terminator or loop back circuits - potted, molded, or with shorting can.
Trek Connect has full capability to overmold per MIL-M-24041C and Low Pressure Injection overmolding. Custom-engineered molds designed to meet customer-specific cable overmolding requirements can be developed and applied in the cable assembly process, utilizing Mil-Spec compounds and LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) compounds.
